Our conservation center is nestled right by the beach in Nilaveli, Trincomalee, as a dedicated hub for protecting our oceans, operating entirely free of charge as part of the Bio-Sphere Horizon Group. We manage a dedicated hatchery where discovered sea turtle eggs are carefully relocated to a secure environment for incubation, monitored closely by our team to ensure the best chances for survival.

​We also engage in tagging and tracking programs to study and protect local nesting populations, contributing to vital marine research. Beyond this conservation work, we are deeply passionate about educating our visitors, raising awareness about plastic pollution, and promoting sustainable fishing practices to ensure a thriving marine ecosystem for generations to come, and we do it all through incredibly fun and active experiences.

Eco-accommodation

At Bio-Sphere Horizon Group, you can rent premium four-person camping accommodations that are specifically designed to withstand the coastal winds and salty air of the Nilaveli coast, ensuring a secure and comfortable stay right by the beach.
